Vintage original print: India map of orographic (landforms) and bathymetric (subsea terrain) focused on the natural features of the country and the surrounding region. Terrain is shown by elegant hypsometric tints, colors used to indicate land elevations and ocean depth. Details include geographic feature names, rivers, waterbodies, coastal bays and harbors. To the north, a large portion of the map covers Tibet and its extreme  elevations. This a fascinating view of "The Indian Empire" of a century ago.  An inset map of Bombay is included. Two corners have minor fold creases.
