The map: Antique state map of the Hawaiian Islands with cities, roads, major waterways and peaks. An index of cities surrounds the map. An inset map of Honolulu is included.  Distances from many island ports to important international destinations are shown,s as well as undersea cables and "wireless telegraph" lines. In 1914, Hawaii was a U.S Territory, not a state (1959). This lovely original print, over 100 years old, represents exceptionally fine engraving techniques. The map was drawn in 1914 and published a year later in 1915.
