The map: Antique California map with color-tinted counties, detailed cities, towns, rail lines and rivers. Topography is shown with hachures. Two inset maps show the San Francisco Bay Area and the Los Angeles to San Diego area. The post-earthquake of 1906 new road grid is visible in San Francisco. An index of counties and cities surrounds the map. This original print, over 100 years old, represents exceptionally fine engraving techniques. The map was drawn in 1914 and published a year later in 1915.
