Vintage original print: Africa map of 1917 political boundaries, now much changed by the emergence of independent nations. Six tints show British, French, Belgian, German, Italian and Portuguese claims of a century ago. Another map categorizes religions across the continent, including an area covering almost half the continent, as "Heathens." Two inset maps show details of the Lakes Region and the Gold Coast to Cameroon.
