The map: Antique map of Denmark in 1914 with insets of Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Administrative areas are shown with color-tinted areas and are listed in a separate legend. Cities, towns, rail lines and waterways are included. Icelandic topographic detail is engraved as hachures to represent mountain ranges. A legend to major cities and towns is to the left of the neatline. This lovely original print, over 100 years old, represents exceptionally fine engraving techniques. The map was drawn in 1914 and published a year later in 1915.
