The map: Antique regional map of China, Japan and Korea with color-tinted countries, islands, cities, waterways. Note the many interesting features - the Great Wall, underwater telegraph lines, canals and colonial territory claims. The map includes other countries in the region, including the Philippine Islands, Formosa, and French Indo-China. Topographic detail is engraved as hachures to represent mountains. This original print is over 100 years old and was first engraved by The Geographical Publishing Company cartographers.

The map: Antique map of Abyssinia in northeastern Africa during the height of colonial claims in the region. Countries are shown with color-tinted areas, cities and waterways. Topographic detail is engraved as hachures to represent mountain ranges and the Nile River is shown in the northwestern corner of the map. This lovely original print, over 100 years old, represents exceptionally fine engraving techniques. The map was drawn in 1914 and published a year later in 1915.
