May 3, Baltimore. The Washington Map Society will be conducting a field trip to Baltimore,

Harold Brodsky, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Geography and Affiliate in Jewish Studies at the University of Maryland, presents Hidden Messages in the 1695 Map of the Exodus, including looking at the making of maps of the Holy Land in the 17th century. An examination of the flawed map that was used in creating the new border between the United States and Mexico following the Mexican-American war of 1846-1848.
