Bloomsbury Auctions Opens New York Sale Room

One of the most highly-regarded auction houses in the field of rare books and works on paper, Bloomsbury Auctions, announced recently that it plans to open a sale room in New York City this fall.

Bloomsbury has been a fixture in the London auction world since 1982, providing buyers and sellers a reputable auction venue for books, manuscripts, prints, antique maps, atlases, and original art. They recently opened a sale room in Rome.

The New York branch of Bloomsbury Auctions is located at 6 West 48th Street, off Fifth Avenue, near Rockefeller Plaza. Their inaugural sale is on September 26th, featuring Important Printed Books and Manuscripts. Their second sale of the season, on October 31, is Travel & Natural History Books, Atlases, and Americana.
