| Hand-colored, copper-engraved antique map of Turkey, engraved by John Dower of London, and published by Orr and Smith in W. M. Higgins's General Descriptive Atlas of the Earth in 1836. Shows present-day Turkey along with part of Syria, Iraq, Georgia, and Armenia. Depicts cities, towns, mountains, rivers, lakes, and so forth. A little bit of surface soiling, but mostly in the margins, and overall in very good condition. Not noted in Phillips. |
