The Great Canon of the Colorado
The Grand Canyon, from an important work of exploration, New Tracks in North America, written by Englishman William A. Bell and published in London in 1869. The book detailed the author's trip with an American surveying expedition searching for the best route for a southern railway to the Pacific. The lithograph is engraved by an unknown artist, based on photographs by Bell. Very good condition.
