Detailed antique map of Switzerland, published in 1853, in Cowperthwait's edition of Mitchell's New Universal Atlas. Colored by region, and showing cities, towns, rivers, roads, mountains, and so forth. Hand colored. Increasingly scarce. Wide margins, a trace of browning due to offsetting, overall very good condition. Reference: Phillips, Geographical Atlases, number 809.
