Hand-colored, lithographic print from W. F. Kirby's European Butterflies and Moths, published in London in 1882. Delightful and colorful print of butterflies in various life stages, set against finely detailed plants. The green coloration of the two butterflies at top are particularly unusual and attractive. One spot on left edge of sheet, can be matted over. Very good condition.
