A well-detailed and beautifully handcolored mid-19th century map of Peru and Bolivia. Shows cities, towns, coastal features, rivers, lakes, mountains, and so forth. Published in the Thomas, Cowperthwait edition of Mitchell's New Universal Atlas in Philadelphia in 1851. Very good condition. Reference: Phillips, Geographical Atlases, number 805.
