Nebraska
Description
From O. W. Gray's National Atlas, or his Atlas of the United States, with General Maps of the World, published around 1875, an excellent county map of Nebraska while the northwestern part of the state was still largely unmapped. A huge Cheyenne county dominates the far western part of the state, while the eastern part is well delineated. The counties are individually hand-colored, and show town and range lines. Also depicted on the map are towns, rivers, railroads, hills, Indian agencies and reservations, and more. A little browning in the margins, otherwise fine condition. A partial map is on verso. Reference: Phillips, Geographical Atlases, number 873.
