Typical of the early editions of this atlas, the map's decorative border is strong and clear, and the color is rich. In addition to the main map of Brazil and its neighbors, there is a full inset map of 'Chili,' and the harbors of Bahia (Salvador) and 'Rio Janeiro.' The map is in excellent condition, printed on thick paper, with just one or two tiny, inconspicuous spots of foxing. Reference: Phillips, Geographical Atlases, number 831.
