Double page showing maps of Western and Eastern Hemispheres. Hand-colored. Alaska is labelled "Russian Possessions"; vast tracts of Africa are unexplored; India is named "Hindoostan". From Johnson & Ward's "New Illustrated Family Atlas" published in 1864. A few spots of foxing away from image areas, overall very good.
