| A double-page antique map of Ohio and Indiana, from Johnson & Ward's New Illustrated Family Atlas, published in 1862. The individually-colored counties show town and range lines and county seats. Elsewhere, the map shows rivers, railroads, towns, roads, lakes, and so forth. With a small vignette of the Ohio capitol building at bottom. Slight age-toning and spotting, and some chipping to sheet edges repaired on verso. A three inch bottom centerfold separation also repaired verso, otherwise very good conditon. Reference: Phillips, Geographical Atlases, number 837. |
