An important transitional map of Texas from the 1862 edition of Johnson & Ward's Illustrated Family Atlas. Young County does not yet show up on the map. Western Texas consists of El Paso, Bexar, and Presidio territories. With insets of Sabine Lake, Northern Texas, and Galveston Bay. An important antique map for Texas collections. Excellent condition.
